What it is
Chaga is not a typical mushroom cap: it is a hard, black, cracked growth on birch trees, rust-coloured inside. The list names its species as Inonotus obliquus.
What it does
It is one of the 25 mushrooms in Shroom Therapy. Chaga is rich in antioxidant polyphenols, and its dark colour comes from natural pigments. Like all mushrooms, it contains beta-glucans, sugars that hold water, which add to the mask's soft feel.
Why it’s clean
Named on the list with its species, Inonotus obliquus, and marked organic. One clearly named ingredient, not a blend name.
