What it is
An oil from the seeds of meadowfoam, Limnanthes alba. It is made almost entirely of long-chain fatty acids, which makes it unusually stable: it is slow to go rancid.
What it does
It softens skin and leaves it feeling smooth, without a heavy, greasy film. In Black Magic it joins the honey and glycerin that coat the sugar.
