Questions
How big is the jar?
The jar holds 13.5 oz (382 g).
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. It is made for face and body. On the face, polish before you cleanse, with a light touch, two or three nights a week, and keep it away from your eyes.
Why is it black?
Charcoal. Honey and glycerin are blended with charcoal powder until the mix looks like black oil, then white sugar soaks it up and turns black. The charcoal also helps lift oil and grime as you rinse.
What's in it?
Sugar, honey, glycerin, meadowfoam seed oil, Moroccan lava clay, charcoal powder and Ceylon cinnamon bark oil. That is the whole list.
Will the sugar feel harsh?
Sugar starts to dissolve as soon as it meets water, so the scrub softens as you work it in. Let it do the work and keep the pressure light.
Does it contain animal-derived ingredients?
Yes: honey, the second ingredient.
