Is it a toner?
Not in the classic sense. It's a hydrating mist with no alcohol and no acids, made to go on last: over serum, and moisturizer if you use one, to seal in moisture, or over makeup.
Can I use it over makeup?
Yes. Mist from 6 to 8 inches away to set and soften the finish.
What makes it hydrating?
Glycerin and a trio of sugar-derived humectants, xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol and xylitol, which help skin hold on to water.
Does it contain essential oils?
